We are the mining services contractor for Bravus' Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to join our on-site Technical Services department.

Your new role
Working an 8/6 roster. You will play an integral role, providing technical support and mentoring for our site-based team.
* Provide Leadership in the undertaking of short term mine planning activities including mine designs and schedules to meet contract requirements
* Build positive working relationships, coordinating with operations teams to develop plans, schedules and designs
* Provide and deliver plans to operational personnel and monitoring progress against plan
* Strategic planning, optimisation and monitoring of mine engineering activities
* Continuous improvement initiatives and technical advice
* Track operation KPIs and commercial progress
* Further develop your career and step-up as Tech Services Manager to cover leave.
What you'll need to succeed
* Must be located in Australia and hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferred
* Bachelor of Engineering (Mining or Civil)
* G1,8,9 (previously S1,2,3) and G2
* Experience in Coal Mining in a Senior mine planning and/or drill and blast role
* Strong working knowledge of Spry or equivalent software packages is highly desirable
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* A current Queensland driver licence.
