The Role
At LivEat, we're all about nutritious, chef‐prepared meals that support a healthy, active lifestyle. We deliver great food fast, using quality ingredients and consistent preparation — without compromising on taste.
We're looking for an experienced, hands‐on Kitchen Supervisor to lead the back‐of‐house operations at our LivEat store within an airport environment. This is a full‐time role suited to someone who thrives in fast‐paced, high‐volume settings.
You will take ownership of day‐to‐day kitchen production, team leadership, food safety, and operational standards — ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident kitchen leader who enjoys balancing people management with strong operational focus.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and manage daily kitchen production to deliver LivEat brand standards
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented in line with recipe cards, portion control, and specifications
* Organise and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality products and smooth service
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
* Work closely with the Store Manager on staffing, sales forecasts, and SPLH targets
* Analyse sales and purchasing data to optimise production and minimise waste
* Support new product launches and collaborate with LivEat and supplier partners
* Recruit, onboard, train, and develop your kitchen team
* Foster a positive, professional, and high-performing team culture
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience managing kitchen production in a fast‐paced foodservice environment
* Strong understanding of standard recipes, portion control, and food presentation
* Solid knowledge of food safety systems, hygiene, and WHS compliance
* Experience with ordering, cost control and waste management
* Confident people leader who can train, coach, and motivate diverse teams
* Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills
* Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with sales and purchasing data
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early starts, weekends, and public holidays
* Valid working rights and ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card (ASIC)
* Experience with workforce management systems (e.g. Kronos) highly regarded
