Busy event Florist based in Burleigh Heads servicing Northern NSW up to the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in unique and customised designs for our corporate clients and wedding couples which means our Florist team must bring along with them their creative flair.
No experience needed just a love of flowers, being creative and a positive can do attitude.
Hands on learning at its best
As our Junior Florist you will:
• A Drivers Licence and own transport
• Want to learn and gain knowledge as a Florist
• Follow sales and business procedures
• General administration: emails, phone communication maintaining a neat and organised inbox
• Tidy and organise workspace and warehouse when required
• Work closely with other crew members to ensure a friendly and efficient working environment
• Attend open days, wedding exhibitions and events as required
• Setting up and packing down events
Role Learning Outcomes:
• To grow in the floristry industry
• Work to timeframes
• Client consultations via phone, emails, showroom meetings
• Assist in designing style boards
• Setting and attending client meetings
• Work in the front florist area
• Assist to upsell
• Assist and recommended services to client to aid them in their needs
• Assist with organising open days, wedding exhibitions and events
• Deliver stock (flowers) to venues, events or businesses if required
• Liaise with other companies, suppliers and manufacturers

• Work with the team to ensure the florist workshop and space is clean and presentable at all times

Qualifications
• No qualifications are required for this position as it is an Junior entry level role – just a passion for flowers and the events industry
