Overview of the role
We seek a Senior Test Manager to lead testing efforts across multiple programs and projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Your background should be in the Energy/Utilities industry with deep systems knowledge. You will shape testing strategies, oversee schedules and plans, and adapt to project needs. You will also mentor and support the testing team, promote best practices, and foster collaboration.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and implement test strategies for complex programs.
* Lead and guide testing teams, providing coaching and support.
* Manage testing schedules, plans, and approaches.
* Ensure comprehensive testing coverage and risk assessments.
* Communicate progress, risks, and challenges effectively.
* Promote continuous improvement within testing processes.
About you
* Strong background in testing within the Energy/Utility sector.
* Extensive experience in Testing & Quality Management.
* Proven ability to develop test strategies for large projects.
* Leadership skills in guiding teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Qualifications and skills
* Tertiary qualifications in testing, project management, or related fields.
* ISTQB certification or equivalent.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, ITIL, and testing tools.
* Understanding of risk-based testing and automation strategies.
