Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior Integration Developer to play a key role in a major program aimed at building a large-scale enterprise organisation.
This is a hands-on technical role, where you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect diverse systems and technologies.
Your expertise in Java and ability to lead development efforts will be essential as you collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Main Duties Design and implement integration solutions using modern development frameworks and enterprise tools Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle—from initial analysis and design to deployment and ongoing support Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient integrations Refine and enhance current application workflows, identifying areas for optimisation Uphold high standards through automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines Skills and Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience in Java development within complex, enterprise-grade environments Proficient with integration frameworks and tools such as: Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Open Shift REST and SOAP APIs, XPath, XQuery, and Enterprise Integration Patterns Knowledge of CI/CD practices, particularly within Open Shift environments, and experience with API management tools like 3scale Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders Proven track record of delivering integration solutions that align with business needs Preferred Experience Background in large-scale organisations or complex sectors such as government, education, or enterprise transformation Experience with multi-platform or multi-vendor integration environments Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
