We are super excited to be collaborating with a reputable commercial law firm based in Sydney. Our client is well known with multiple offices across Australia, and beyond. As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a loyal and motivated mid-senior Legal Assistant to join their supportive and friendly conveyancing team.
As a Legal Assistant you will play an important role in supporting the Conveyancing department, and ensuring their clients are supported throughout the property transfer process.
**Expect something different each day**:
- Assisting with the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, letters and contracts.
- Coordinating communication between clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Processing invoices, monthly billing and reporting
- Opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches and ASIC and property searches
- Managing the scheduling of appointments, closings, and meetings.
- Providing administrative support to the Conveyancing team as needed.
**To be successful in this role**:
- Previous experience in conveyancing, at least 2 years
- PEXA settlement experience
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using legal software and office tools.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
