As a Casual Maintenance Officer, you will support the team in safely and effectively completing maintenance tasks across the campus.
This is a casual position commencing in March 2026. This role is primarily based at our Kew Campus, but there may be a requirement to move between campuses from time to time.
The Role:
* Conduct routine inspections of classrooms, offices and other common areas across the campus
* Maintain a safe environment, reporting hazards and maintenance issues as needed
* Set up and pack down equipment for school events and assemblies
* Respond to maintenance repair requests from staff
* Ad-hoc maintenance duties as required by the Maintenance Supervisor
The Person:
* Previous experience in general maintenance is highly desirable but not mandatory
* A commitment to working in and maintaining a safe environment
* Have the ability (or willingness to learn) to operate small power tools
* Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
