We believe in fostering a supportive community that engages families and empowers educators.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher with a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration to join our team.Village Early Education offer one full day per week planning for early childhood teachers, along with 6 weeks annual leave. This role has the capacity for above ward wage and conditions, dependent on skills and experience.Village Early Education is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care and are committed toraising awareness about the importance of child safety in our organisation and our communities, whichis essential for promoting healthy and safe learning environments for children.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development: Create and deliver engaging programs and experiences tailored to the developmental needs and interests of three-year-old children in line with the VEYLDF.Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.Programming and Planning: Documenting children’s learning and development in line with the VEYLDF.Family Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with families through effective communication.Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and centre management to ensure a harmonious, collaborative work environment and contribute to the overall success of the centre.Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment in compliance with relevant regulations, National Quality Framework and Village Early Education’s policies.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.Victorian Institute of Teaching: Full Registration ideal, provisional considered.Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience teaching young children, preferably in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood.
