About The Role

Australian Weighing Equipment is currently looking to fill the full-time role of a Branch Sales Administration Assistant at our Underwood, QLD Branch.

Working within a small team, you will be reporting to the Branch Manager. We are requiring an enthusiastic individual with the ability to self-manage, work autonomously and also work within a Team.

You will be required to provide the Branch with general administration support along with sales administration support.

Relevant training will be provided.


Responsibilities

Being the first point of contact for the office, including greeting clients, answering the phone, and taking messages

Assisting the Service Team with administration requirements.

Updating stock levels in our accounting system when receiving orders.

Assisting the QLD Sales Team with preparing and issuing of quotations

Assisting the QLD Sales Team with issuing of pro-forma Invoices

Supporting the QLD Branch by following up annual services and calibrations due by providing quotations and raising job sheets

Support the Service Manager CoOrdinator and/or Service Administrator with being a back up for service and scheduling in their absence

Produce picking slips and delivery dockets

Sending requests and letters to clients and third parties

Managing incoming and outgoing mail

Attending to all office administrative tasks including scanning, copying, and printing

Data Entry

Filing

General office maintenance including, but not limited to ensuring the kitchen and common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state.

Assisting HR with Employee & Contractor onsite inductions and other WH&S requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have general administrative experience (manufacturing / industrial industry experience is desirable) with a good understanding of sales processes, coupled with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to do whatever it takes to help the team be successful. You must be passionate about helping clients and pride yourself on delivering high-quality standard of work.
