Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Perform a variety of skilled tasks to ensure the airworthiness and safety of aircraft.
About the Role
* Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems, and aircraft weapon systems from computers to stores, as well as load and handle various aircraft and stores.
* Carry out scheduled servicing and other unscheduled maintenance tasks under supervision.
* Verify maintenance and technical documentation is authorized and compliant with regulations.
* Accurately record details of work performed and gain certification within required timeframes.
* Report defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors, and unserviceability to supervisor.
* Initiate quality, non-conformance, or defect reporting as directed.
About You
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Armament.
* Aviation Maintenance Licence (highly desirable).
* Understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations, processes, and procedures (highly desirable).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
* Australian Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
