As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated and skilled Leasing Lawyer to join their legal team.
About the Role:
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Lawyer to support their retail leasing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property law and a proven track record of negotiating and managing lease agreements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that their leasing practices align with the business objectives while minimizing legal risks.
In this role you will:
* Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements for retail locations.
* Provide legal advice on leasing matters, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the real estate and operations teams, to align leasing strategies with business goals.
* Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to leasing transactions.
* Manage disputes related to lease agreements, working closely with external counsel as necessary.
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive legal documentation related to leasing activities.
About you:
* Admitted to practice in Victoria
* Minimum of 3 years retail leasing experience
* Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
