Overview
Reporting to the Installation Supervisor, this hands-on role involves installing custom gates and fencing systems across metro Adelaide. You'll support the installation team with site preparation, setting posts, fitting gate systems, operating tools, and assisting with deliveries and warehouse tasks.
This position suits someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, has a solid work ethic, and is ready to learn welding and fabrication techniques on the job. The ability to read basic plans and measurements is essential to ensure accurate, safe installations.
Responsibilities
Install sliding and swing gate systems for residential and commercial clients
Dig post holes, set posts, prepare sites and materials
Read basic plans, measurements, and instructions
Assist with deliveries and general warehouse support
Operate and maintain hand and power tools
Support qualified installers on job sites
Learn and apply welding and fabrication skills (training provided)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ideal Skills & Experience
Manual driver's licence (required)
Ability to read and understand basic plans and drawings
Confidence working outdoors and performing physical tasks
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
Experience in construction, labouring, fencing, metalwork, or similar trades (advantageous)
Light truck licence (desirable)
