About this Water Treatment Role
This role involves managing the design, estimation, procurement and project management of chemical dosing and water treatment projects for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage equipment design, procurement and installation for our water treatment and chemical dosing solutions.
* You will work closely with customers, suppliers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Responsibilities also include tendering, quoting and engaging with contractors to develop delivery timeframes.
* As the day-to-day point of contact, you will collaborate with internal teams on tenders and quotations.
* On-site installation and commissioning of water treatment and chemical dosing equipment is also part of your responsibilities.
* You will assist the sales team with spare parts and maintenance of existing installations.
The role requires regular travel to customer sites, including overnight stays.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in a related Engineering discipline or a relevant trade qualification.
* Water industry experience.
* Proven experience in project management.
* Microsoft Project and AutoCAD experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Experience in automated control systems and plant commissioning is valued.
* A strong commitment to safety.
* Excellent planning, administration and organisational skills.
* A customer-focused attitude.
* A valid driving license.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
