As the Asset Engineer – Mechanical, you will join a dedicated and supportive Engineering team, providing a high level of technical support at our power station based in Collie, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on plant performance.
The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities to grow and develop within the role.
As the Asset Engineer – Mechanical, you will:
* Develop and maintain asset management plans in accordance with business processes and strategic objectives.
* Maintain and monitor equipment life cycle costing models.
* Develop and execute asset maintenance or improvement projects to recognised PM standards.
* Develop, implement and review plant optimisation initiatives.
* Develop planned and forced outage work scopes, and coordinate assigned contract works during plant outages and project execution works.
* Carry out root cause analysis investigations, preparing and delivering proposals, reports and recommendations.
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of safe operating and maintenance procedures.
About you:
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 3 years' experience in power generation or heavy process industry environments.
* Proven experience in bulk handling and processes.
* Ability to develop excellent working relationships with client interfaces and demonstrate the ability to identify ways to develop and add value to the organisation.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.
* High level of computer literacy, including SAP, Permit to Work systems and Microsoft Suite.
