We are currently seeking a dynamic Systems Engineering Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business across strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
Manage, motivate, and direct a team of Systems Engineers focused on Enterprise Accounts.
Develop technical account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibilities.
Maximize Fortinet opportunity while providing value-added solutions to Enterprise customers.
Act as the main technical resource on sales calls, answering and educating customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
Work closely with Systems Engineers, Account Managers, and other internal groups to create and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.
Negotiate terms of business with clients to secure win/win results that strengthen ongoing relationships.
Maintain effective working relationships with Assigned Region MAMs, Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals.
Travel within the assigned territory as required.
Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineering manager.
5–7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus technologies.
Strong understanding of protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, *****Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
Strong presentation skills to executives and individual contributors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A self-motivated, independent thinker who can move deals through the selling cycle.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the network security industry; MBA preferred.
