In response to the growing demand both globally and here in Australia for Trustworthy AI Governance and Risk Management Services, we are looking to hire a Director with deep AI experience to lead our regional and national teams delivering market leading advice and practical solutions that will make a material impact to our clients, our people and society.
Ideally located in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will work with potential and existing clients across a wide range of industries and the public sector, to advise, deliver and implement customised Trustworthy AI solutions.
What will your typical day look like?
Develop and execute comprehensive product development, sales and delivery strategies for TAI products and services in alignment with market needs and business goals across the Asia Pacific region
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their specific needs and create detailed and customised TAI proposals to address their specific challenges and provide value.
Support the TAI regional strategy for Asia Pacific, including through the establishment of local delivery teams and a centralised Centre of Excellence
Develop and lead teams throughout Asia Pacific to ensure that solutions integrate seamlessly with client's existing AI technical and governance systems
Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline that tracks leads from initial contact to closing. Manage and monitor the progress of each opportunity
Co-ordinate market activation activities in Asia Pacific, including TAI pursuits and engagement delivery
Oversee the end-to-end TAI engagement delivery process across Asia Pacific, from initial client onboarding to final deployment
Work alongside other Deloitte business areas, to champion TAI internally support cross-service delivery throughout Asia Pacific
Work with cross-functional teams and with external partners, research institutions, and industry experts to leverage expertise and collaborate on TAI delivery
Define a clear and compelling vision for TAI solutions, considering emerging regulation and technologies, industry trends and customer demands
Develop our people through formal training programmes, on-the-job training and coaching
Collaborate with Asia Pacific leadership, to engender Executive support and investment into TAI strategy, centrally and across each Participating Firm

You may have all or some of the following skills / experience:
Expertise in AI Governance: Deep experience in AI governance, risk management or related fields, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI policies and frameworks
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of AI-related regulations, ethical standards and industry best practices
Technical Acumen: Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, data science and analytics tools
Business Development: Experience identifying business opportunities, developing proposals and driving successful client engagements
Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess and mitigate AI risks across the AI lifecycle
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Client Engagement: Experience in client-facing roles, with a history of advising and supporting clients on AI governance and risk management
Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on fostering professional growth and development
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on long-term AI governance goals
Project Management: Solid project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, industry leaders and internal teams
Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with the latest Trustworthy AI trends, innovations and regulatory changes
