Join a growing allied health team where your expertise in paediatric podiatry will help children and families achieve better mobility, confidence, independence and quality of life.
As part of our Child, Adult & Family Therapies program, you’ll work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality podiatry services to children and young people across a range of funded programs including NDIS and community health.
About The Role As a Paediatric Podiatrist, you will provide evidence‑based assessment, intervention, education and care planning for children and young people. You will work closely with families, carers, educators and other health professionals to deliver person‑centred, goal‑directed care.
This Role Includes
Paediatric podiatry assessment and treatment
Developing therapy plans and interventions tailored to individual needs
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
Supporting children with developmental, physical and complex needs
Delivering education and self‑management strategies to families and carers
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and client records
Supervising students and supporting allied health assistants where required
Working closely with a multi‑disciplinary team
Role across both community health and NDIS
What you’ll bring
Relevant tertiary qualification in Podiatry
Current AHPRA registration
Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience as a paediatric podiatrist
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
Commitment to delivering high‑quality, client‑centred care
Experience working within community health settings
Experience supporting NDIS participants
Additional professional development, training or demonstrated interest in paediatric podiatry
Experience working with children with developmental delay, neurodiversity or complex needs
