Production Planning and Analysis Specialist
The role of the Production Planner/Analyst is to ensure accurate and compliant production planning, yield reporting, and performance analysis across the plant.

This position involves maintaining accountability for collecting, validating, and interpreting operational data to support regulatory, quality, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Analysis & Reporting
o Collate and analyse production and yield data to identify trends or variances.
o Assist maintaining accurate data for carcass breakdowns, primal recovery, and SKU outputs.
o Prepare daily and weekly production performance reports for management review.
o Track KPIs such as throughput, downtime, and utilisation, highlighting areas for improvement.
o Support forecasting, costing, and production efficiency analysis.
* Production Planning & Coordination
o Assist with preparing daily and weekly production schedules across slaughter, boning, value-add, and packaging areas.
o Support the alignment of production plans with sales orders, inventory levels, and customer specifications.
o Liaise with operations, cold stores, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution of the plan.
o Monitor product yields, recovery rates, and line performance to support accurate future planning.
o Help manage production adjustments based on raw material availability, labour, and equipment capacity.
o Assist in identifying and implementing planning or process improvements.
o Support initiatives to optimise carcass utilisation, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency.
o Participate in cross-department meetings to align production, sales, and inventory planning.
Requirements
* Data Analysis Skills: Proven ability to collate and analyse data to identify trends or variances.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and liaise with stakeholders.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to assist in preparing production schedules and managing production adjustments.
