Electrical / Mechatronics Engineer – CNC Machinery Maintenance

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. The role will focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of CNC and automated machinery across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance and servicing of CNC & automated machinery (Siemens, Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, Okuma)
* Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fault finding and repair
* PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens)
* Electrical design and documentation (EPLAN or similar)
* Support for industrial robotics and VSD control systems
* Collaborating with operators and engineers to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
About You
* Degree or trade qualification in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven hands‐on experience with CNC machinery maintenance – experience is essential
* Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Proficiency in PLC programming and industrial automation systems
* Experience with electrical design software
* Safety‐focused mindset with excellent attention to detail
