Join us in making a positive difference in the lives of those with disabilities!Please review the set roster to ensure you can work the shifts before applying:A typical day in the role may look like…Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve themJoining customers in recreational activities;Supporting customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, health and hygiene, medication administration and attending appointments;Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; andAdministration duties and mandatory daily reports.The ideal candidate will have:Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationshipsPassion for providing service and assistance and helping others live their best livesPrevious experience in manual handling and medication administrationWillingness to assist with personal care (showering, toileting)Proven administration and computer literacy skillsCert III or higher in Individual Support or Disability - essentialWillingness to use your fully insured and registered, private vehicle (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate).Submitting your application is easy.
