Rural Health West aims to improve access to quality healthcare for rural communities through the provision of a highly skilled, motivated and sustainable medical, nursing, midwifery, dental and allied health workforce. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our team. The role involves working with regional health professional and organisations to build strong networks, collaborate on projects and coordinate the delivery of medical education events with community partners.
In this role you will coordinate the Health Professionals Network (HPN):
* Coordinate professional development activities and events requested by the Great Southern HPN Steering Committee, including social networking events, educational dinners, workshops and forums for regional health professionals.
* Increase membership of the network through promotion and consultation with regional health professionals.
* Maintain the GSHPN website and social media platforms to ensure content and data is relevant at all times.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders within the region and across the organisation.
* Participate in Rural Health West forums and conference events.
Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in project and event coordination
* Well developed organisational skills
* Strong administration skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision and constant interaction.
* Ability to develop and maintain professional networks and stakeholder relationships within the Great Southern Region.
