Their mission is to help people live the life they choose-and they're looking for a Rostering Team Leader to help make that happen.
Your new role
As the Rostering Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of staff rosters across the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Manager, People & Culture, you will lead a small team and work closely with Program Managers and Team Leaders to ensure rosters are aligned with participant needs, staff capabilities, and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the day-to-day rostering function and supervising Rostering Officers
* Ensuring rosters are developed at least 4 weeks in advance and meet NDIS and award requirements
* Managing shift vacancies, staff availability, and unplanned absences
* Approving and amending timesheets and ensuring payroll accuracy
* Collaborating with Service Delivery and People & Culture teams to match staff with participant needs
* Driving continuous improvement in rostering systems and processes
* Providing regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Extensive experience in rostering and coordinating large teams, ideally in a human services or NDIS environment
* Strong understanding of industrial instruments and legislative compliance
* High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting
* Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
* Proficiency in rostering systems (Visual Care preferred) and Microsoft Office
* Ability to analyse data and contribute to performance reporting and process improvement
Essential checks include:
* Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (NDIS endorsed)
* National Police Check
* Completion of the NDIS 'Quality, Safety and You' Orientation Module
