Zone Communications, the largest Optus franchise in Australia with 19 stores across Perth and a 29-year-old history, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Store Managers (Retail Manager) for our stores across Perth to lead our team.
The Role
We are looking for a leader to drive store performance, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and lead a team to achieve sales and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, stock control, merchandising, and cash handling.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
* Drive business growth through sales initiatives, upselling, and cross-selling.
* Monitor store performance and implement strategies to meet KPIs.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS standards, and operational procedures.
* Handle customer queries, feedback, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
* Develop staff rosters and manage workforce planning to meet store demands.
Skills and experience
* Previous retail management or supervisory experience (telecommunications industry highly regarded).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
* Knowledge of mobile phone and telecommunications products desirable
