About the RoleWe are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our caring and committed aged care team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assistance, support, and hands-on personal care to residents within our aged care facility.
Your care will help ensure that each resident is treated with respect and empathy, while supporting their dignity, independence, and overall sense of well-being.
You'll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day.
Key responsibilities include:Conduct activities of daily living for residents while monitoring their well-being and reporting any changes to nursing staff.Ensure awareness of risks while providing personal care.Contribute to improving residents' lives by embracing daily challenges.Collaborate with the team and provide support to other members when necessaryWork in a supportive environment with leadership dedicated to your growth and success.About YouYou are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our elderly residents and are committed to supporting their well-being and happiness.
You demonstrate compassion, integrity, and strong organisational and time management skills.
You can work with a diverse group of people, possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or an equivalent qualification, with at least 6 months of experience in acute or aged care.
The successful candidate must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
