Commissioning Engineer Role
Frontline Automation is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities on site for major industrial projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring control systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to meet technical, functional, and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and networked automation infrastructure. They will be responsible for performing site-based functional testing, loop checking, fault-finding, and system tuning.
This role requires strong communication skills, as the engineer will need to interface with project stakeholders including construction, electrical, instrumentation, and OEM teams to coordinate commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute commissioning of control systems.
* Perform site-based functional testing, loop checking, fault-finding, and system tuning.
* Interface with project stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities.
* Ensure systems comply with project specifications and client requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar).
* Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience.
* Proficiency with major PLC/SCADA platforms.
* Strong understanding of industrial networks.
* Proven ability to work autonomously in remote and high-pressure environments.
