We're looking for reliable and experienced operators to safely haul bulk materials across mine sites and remote routes using triple and quad road trains.
You'll transport ore and other materials between pits, plants, and stockpiles, conduct daily pre-start checks, maintain your vehicle, and ensure each load is delivered safely and on time.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth.Machines18 speed road rangers & automatics (Kenworth and Mack Trucks)Side tippers – triple or quad combinationsCAT980-988 or WA500-600 Front-end loadersKey ResponsibilitiesSafely operate road trains, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.Load and unload materials, using a front-end loader.Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery times.Follow company policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance and safety.Skills/QualificationsCurrent and valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.Commercial Drivers Fatigue Management Certificate (valid within 2 years).
National Police Clearance.Proven experience as a Road Train Operator – carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader.Experience operating in on-road and off-road environments.Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Benefits$5 per hour site bonus, paid fortnightly.Super on ALL hours worked.Flights covered from capital cities within Australia.Nib Health Insurance Discount of 12%.
