About The Opportunity: We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Head of Sales to lead our State Team.
In this Role:
- Lead and coach a large State Sales Team, fostering accountability, alignment and engagement.
- Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships, including with IGA Boards, MSOs, SSOs, and contract customers.
- Drive wholesale sales and EBIT, with accountability for influencing the State P&L.;
- Develop and deliver bold sales and activation strategies to grow market share and revenue.
- Champion customer engagement, ensuring visibility of account plans, performance, and insights.
- Partner with stakeholders across Merchandise, Logistics, Pricing, and Retail Excellence to deliver growth initiatives.
- Leverage market insights and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and innovations.
- Promote a strong safety and compliance culture, ensuring OHS and Grocery Code of Conduct standards are met.

- Proven experience leading high-performing sales or account management teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with deep P&L;, budgeting, and forecasting knowledge.
- Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

- A collaborative leadership style, with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
- Experience building and managing senior-level customer relationships.
