W Sydney is casting for a Finance Officer focusing on Income Audit. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this integral role provides day to day operational finance support to the wider team and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the pre-opening efforts of the world's largest W Hotel.
Job Summary
Finance Officer's (Income Auditor) primary responsibility is to review, audit and substantiate all revenue, payment and cash transactions, document them, and prepare daily and monthly reports for the management as per business policies. Periodical audit to be conducted crossing all relevant departments and positions, and ensure controls are in compliance with W HID and Marriott LSOPs.
To be successful as a Finance Officer, you will be curious and keen to learn other areas of the finance operation to create a cohesive and sharing team which will also allow you to grow within the business.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Hospitality Management
* Minimum one-year experience as Income Audit related role in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred
* Experience in Opera PMS, Infrasys POS and PeopleSoft Financial System will be an advantage
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication and Microsoft Office skills, and a strong attention to detail
