At present, we are seeking experienced Loader Operators for our client's factory in Ballarat. Located in Victoria, applicants with previous loader experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is a challenging and fast paced environment. Working as a part of a team, your role will be focused on the operation of the loader at the site. Your role will include (but not limited to) the following:
- Operating a wheeled loader to move harvested pyrethrum crop/stockfeed within the crop shed to maximise storage volume and maintain free floor space to enable deliveries.
- Safely coordinate bulk deliveries within the crop shed as necessary, in collaboration with weighbridge operators, taking due care to avoid mechanical and personal injury.
- Assisting with storage operations by performing cleaning tasks and limited repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
- Conducting routine maintenance on mechanical equipment that incumbent is responsible for.
- Maintaining clean working environments to avoid constant contact with dust including cleaning loaders to reduce personal dust exposure, fire risk, and shed floors to reduce contamination risk.
- Assisting in weighbridge operation and loading of trucks.
- Completing tasks and sign offs in logbooks for quality.
- Reporting all safety observations, near misses, injuries, and incidents to a supervisor.
- Other duties as requested by the Site Supervisor.

**Your Skills & Experience**
To be considered for the role, it's important you can address the following criteria:
- Proven experience in safe and efficient operations of a front-end loader
- Forklift experience also desirable
- Committed to the entire season.
- Have good level of English
- Able to pass pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol test
