Senior Network Architect Role
This is a senior-level position that requires a highly motivated and experienced professional to design, engineer, and implement WAN telecommunications networks. The selected candidate will work on multiple initiatives for leading network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fujitsu, Ciena, RAD, collaborating with internal and external teams.
The Network Architect will be responsible for providing 3rd level support for troubleshooting and resolving IP backbone and customer routing issues. They will also design, engineer, and implement solutions that support customer requirements and critical backbone architecture.
In addition to these duties, the Network Architect will create network documentation and training as required for supporting engineering and NOC teams. They will define and implement best practices for network and capacity management, identify areas of opportunity for automation and network optimization, and routinely perform proof of concepts and service trials while documenting system integration.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree, and a minimum of 4 years of prior WAN Telecommunications networks experience. They will also have excellent IP configuration and troubleshooting skills, including PIM, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPLS, VRFs, L3VPN, and Ethernet.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining WAN telecommunications networks.
* Exceptional skills in IP configuration and troubleshooting, including protocols like PIM, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPLS, VRFs, L3VPN, and Ethernet.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Familiarity with leading network vendors, including Cisco, Juniper, Fujitsu, Ciena, RAD.
* Experience with database modeling software, such as Netbox.
* Awareness of AutoCAD, DICE, PDM, ClearQuest.
