**About the role**
As a member of the Client Engagement team, the Client Engagement Advisor provides administrative, marketing and events support to the Clients team, and the firm, in implementing its vision and strategy.
Coordinating business development, marketing and communications activities that build market awareness of our national brand and support the growth of practice groups, sector groups, and client relationships.
The role involves supporting key partners and lawyers to ensure a focused, consistent, and coordinated approach to activities, in accordance with firm strategies and objectives.
**Responsibilities**
The position will include but will not be limited to:
- Manage external (virtual, in-person and hybrid) and internal events including venue research, booking and setup; guest list preparation, invitations and name tags; and on-site hosting responsibilities including greeting guests and coordinating speakers and suppliers.
- Coordinate live and pre-recorded webinars including producing the event, coordinating invitees and presenters and coordinating post-webinar activities including distribution of recordings, uploading to website and more.
- Managing mailing lists, coordinating RSVPs for events, updating attendance reports and updating InterAction (CRM system) as required.
- Research and recommend sponsorship and speaking opportunities aligned to firm and practice group strategies.
- Engage with leaders, managers and staff to facilitate smooth operational activities and to educate and coach them on specific event, publications and database management issues and requirements
- Identifying content opportunities including expertise, firm news and culture and education-related to build awareness and nurture conversion
- Assisting with the preparation of performance reporting, expense and invoice management and other administrative tasks as required
- Assisting in developing and managing an annual marketing budget that supports the communications objectives of the firm
- Collaborate with the Head of Client Engagement and the Brand & Marketing Manager to implement a national program of events that support practice group, client and sector BD objectives
- Publishing content and supporting management of the firm's website and social media channels as required
**About You**
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
- Suitable applicants will bring previous event management experience, ideally in the professional services industry
- Proven experience producing and managing webinars using Microsoft Teams or similar software
- Project management skills - the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and at varying stages
- Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise work to meet key deliverables
- The ability to work through problems autonomously and exercise sound judgement on when to escalate
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, particularly the ability to earn the confidence and trust of key stakeholders and customers
- Good influencing and negotiation capability
- The ability to challenge the status quo and offer practical solutions
- A highly developed customer service ethic
- A focus on continuous improvement and driving efficiency
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Critical reasoning skills and the ability to think laterally
