Freight Handler – Cairns Airport

Synergie is seeking a Freight Handler for the logistics industry located in Cairns.
Important parts:
* Immediate start.
* Full time position available - includes weekends and shift work - penalty rates will apply if working weekends & outside of normal hours.
* Location: Cairns Airport.
What you will be required to do:
* Driving and working airside and in the shed at Cairns Airport sorting freight collecting freight from aircraft (this is not baggage handling).
* Loading and unloading freighters as part of a team.
* Delivery driving animals and urgent freight in the Cairns and North Qld area as required.
To be successful in the role you must:
* Forklift ticket and driver licence.
* Must undergo a drug and alcohol test and security background checks for an Aviation ASIC Pass.
* Be a Permanent Resident as this is a Permanent position.
Base hour rate offered with penalty rates and overtime rates available.
