Mobilize is partnered with a growing Western Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality rubber products and engineered solutions for the mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors. As Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency. Working closely with management and the production team you will coordinate workflow, support staff and keep the plant operating smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the production floor solving problems and driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day production activities across the manufacturing plant
* Coordinate workflow and allocate labour to meet production schedules
* Lead, support and mentor production staff on the production floor
* Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications
* Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
* Coordinate plant maintenance and equipment repairs when required
* Maintain a safe and organised working environment
* Assist in improving systems, processes and workflow across the production operation
* Responsible at times for the plant running smoothly outside of normal hours
Qualifications & Skills
* Has previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Leading Hand, or in a similar role
* Experience working in manufacturing, fabrication or industrial production environment where you have lead teams in a hands on position
* Has a strong understanding of production or manufacturing operations
* Is a practical problem solver with strong mechanical awareness
* Can lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
* Has a strong commitment to safety and quality
* Enjoys improving processes and helping operations run more efficiently
