Key Account Manager Role
The ideal candidate will be a key account manager responsible for software integration product, software integration partner relationships and projects, team coordination, and other product initiatives.
This role involves overseeing the go-to-market strategy for new partners as well as having responsibility for partner success of a suite of existing partners.
The client is a growing and profitable payments fintech seeking a motivated account manager with an excellent understanding of technology and API software integrations.
You will oversee the integration of third-party software partners, coordinate technical integration specialist teams, and ensure timely implementation of product initiatives and technical enhancements.
This is an ideal role for someone with excellent communication skills and strong technical proficiency who loves seeing new initiatives being brought to life.
Responsibilities:
* Go-to-market execution of product and integrated solutions used by third-party software partners
* Oversee the implementation of product initiatives, tech enhancements, and operational improvements
* Integration partner relationship management - to grow usage and partnership scope
* Technical integration concept mapping and support - in conjunction with Technical Product Specialists
* Partner success and growth - existing partner growth and development, pre-sales
* Proactive account management - regular partner contact, reviews, and needs assessments
* Team coordination - coordinate technical integration specialist teams and integration projects to ensure the delivery of successful demonstrations and partner integrations
* Partner advocacy - gather and communicate needs and wants to influence strategies and roadmap
* Technical documentation - draft, update, and enhance API integration documentation
* Partner communication - regular update communication, change notifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
* Excellent understanding of technology and API software integrations
* Minimum 4 years' experience in technical specialist, technical account management role
* Strong relationship and account management skills
* Ability to run with initiatives, and experience with implementation of initiatives
* Strong understanding of sales, business development, and commercial processes
* Excellent communication skills with ability to successfully interact with internal and external stakeholders in a proactive manner
* Experience in payments, financial services, SaaS industries is highly desirable
