Overview
Greencross Minchinbury is a fast-paced GP veterinary clinic in Western Sydney. We are co-located in office at a busy Petbarn store with a great clientele and modern facilities including IM3 dental, digital x-ray, Bair Hugger, separate sterile surgery, imaging room and cat ward.
About Your New Job
- Part time role - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and possible Saturdays
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
About Your Skill Level And Experience
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years' Veterinary Nursing experience
- Confident and passionate about training and guiding nurse students
- Excellent animal handling skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Confident with monitoring procedures and anesthetics
- Outstanding organisational, communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable within a team workplace
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
