About the role
This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced Inventory Co-ordinator who will be responsible for the managing and operation of the regional warehouse. This full-time position will be reporting to the Support Services Manager. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for delivering effective management of warehouse, inventory and logistic activities to the detention network. You will conduct and/or provide support as required, for stock-take and asset audit activities. Knowledge in ensuring warehouse procurement is buying at best market or negotiated Serco national rates and be able to leverage of all available procurement opportunities.

You will have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good basic / intermediate computer skills. You will be customer service oriented with the ability to build and maintain good stakeholder relationships. You demonstrate good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and possess a calm nature. You're a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour Extensive warehouse knowledge in safe working practices Sufficient experience in management of inventory & assets within warehousing & sites Experience in maintaining cost-effective logistics across the network Experience in ensuring vendors supply stock in a timely matter Transparency with Stock on Hand (SOH) across the network A history in supporting multiple sites with all warehouse management requirements And maintain a High Risk / Forklift License And maintain a current full Australian Driver's Licence An understanding of Sea and Airfreight processes The ability and willingness to obtain "Dangerous Goods by Air - Awareness for Ground Crew" Certificate
