Investment Analyst
Primarily responsible for overseeing, analysis, underwriting and structuring of credit proposals, working collaboratively with Investment Team members. The role will also be responsible for supporting due diligence and loan management.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support Senior Investment Manager in undertaking relevant due diligence and financial analysis for potential credit proposals.
* Assist sheets of an Investment Team to identify, underwrite, negotiate, structure and prepare indicative term sheets for new loan opportunities.
* Covering the end-to-end credit application process to close the deal.
* Work collaboratively with Credit Team in preparing detailed and succinct credit proposals and presenting to committee.
* Ongoing loan management for existing portfolios includes:
* Analysis of monthly QS progress reports, liaising with stakeholders and provision of progress payments.
* Full and partial discharges, variations and consents, conditions subsequent and general administration.
* Assisting with Legal/Recovery Action/Works outs.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Minimum 3 years working experience in related fields, candidates for banking/non-bank.
* Finance, credit assessment and/or property experience will be preferred.
* Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in commerce, business, property or other related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail.
* Strong financial modelling, analysis and interpretation skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate and present critical arguments.
