Job Title
A Compliance Officer is required to lead the independent assessment and review of matters relating to legislation, policies, and procedures for infringement notices, regulated dog declarations, and compliance notices.
* To undertake infringement reviews to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with statutory requirements.
* To deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence while ensuring all processes align with legislative obligations.
* To provide expert advice across all council areas regarding penalty infringement notices, research and analyse data, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
You will hold a Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or a similar qualification and possess substantial experience in interpreting and applying legislation, policies, standards, regulations, and procedures. As a natural leader, you are confident in setting expectations, fostering team engagement, and providing support to your staff. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service and managing situations that require diplomacy and sensitivity.
