About the Role
* You will be responsible for operating a Paper Machine and its ancillary equipment to meet agreed production, service, and quality standards.
* Maintaining equipment correctly and performing regular maintenance tasks.
* Ensuring safe work practices and maintaining a high level of housekeeping at all times.
This is a permanent full-time position with a rotating roster, including day and night shifts. As a Paper Machine Operator, you will have prior experience in operating machinery within an industrial environment and possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well as a team and independently.
You will also have good written and communication skills, with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental practices. A mechanical aptitude is essential, and a trade/technical qualification is highly regarded. Qualifications such as HNC Paper Technology would be a distinct advantage. Experience operating a forklift and holding a current forklift licence are desirable.
