Rental Sales Agent
You will deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming and assisting clients in renting vehicles based on their preferences and needs. You will process rental agreements efficiently, promote and sell additional products and services, address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to support sales efforts, build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals, detail and clean vehicles to high business standards, refuel and transport vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist clients in renting vehicles based on their preferences and needs.
* Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently.
* Promote and sell additional products and services.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, with a service-first approach.
* Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages.
* Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to support sales efforts.
* Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
* Detail and clean vehicles to high business standards.
* Refuel and transport vehicles.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
* Car rental experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
* Confident using computer systems and technology.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays.
* Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Full working rights in Australia (current and ongoing).
* A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
