$104,109.20 p.a

**About the role**

Ballarat Health Services, proudly part of Grampians Health is undergoing $541.6 Million redevelopment of the Ballarat Base Hospital. The redevelopment will deliver a new emergency department, a women and children's hub, state-of-the-art theatre suite and an extra 100 inpatient and short stay beds. A new and expanded critical care floor will bring together operating theatres, procedure rooms, an expanded intensive care unit, endoscopy suites and consulting rooms - delivering capacity for an additional 4,000 surgeries every year.

Once completed, the upgraded hospital will have the capacity to treat at least 18,000 more emergency patients and an extra 14,500 inpatients per year.

The redevelopment will be completed over multiple stages. Construction of the final stage is expected to be completed in 2027.

We have an opportunity for a project manager to lead our redevelopment phase and other capital infrastructure works, as it pertains to the ICT technical delivery component of the building works.

The position will work closely with the key Infrastructure and Capital works staff across Grampians Health to define, scope, cost, quality, schedules, risk, and benefits, aligned to the objectives of the project Business Cases. The role will facilitate effective collaboration with external vendors and business stakeholders to deliver ICT projects that align with Grampians Health strategies and are delivered on time and within budget.

The role with also involve assisting the CIO, Director Digital Health Infrastructure, Project Director or Project Team and working with the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) as they deliver this Project, providing support, advice, facilitation and review as required.

Key stakeholders include the staff of Grampians Health, the Victorian Health Building Authority, project design teams, consultants and contractors.

The role would confidently represent Grampians Health with VHBA, consultants, contractors and negotiate with them as well as resolve complex issues through a process of consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders. Authoritative expert advice and technical input will be required.

An appropriate tertiary qualification in IT, project management, and experience in planning and delivery of capital projects within a complex environment.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Tertiary degree in an information systems related discipline or equivalent information technology experience
- Management or Project Management qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile / Scrum certificates)
- Demonstrated experience in managing facility construction and renovation projects, financial budgets, and construction programs highly desirable.

**Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills**
- Knowledge and understanding of IT facilities management, including Data Centres, Cabling, Networking and System infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to develop tender documentation and assessments.
- Project management: demonstrated achievements in managing projects with multiple partners and stakeholders; produces detailed project plans where
