We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to support a key Santos project in the Cooper Basin on a 2:2 roster. The role involves installations, maintenance and repairs on critical infrastructure to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical maintenance on piping, valves and equipment to specification.
* Diagnose faults, conduct repairs and ensure machinery reliability.
* Interpret technical drawings and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
* Collaborate with site supervisors to meet project milestones.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.
* Proven experience in the oil & gas or heavy industry environment.
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills.
* Commitment to safety and operational standards.
* White Card, relevant tickets (e.g. working at heights) and a team‐focused approach.
