Parts Sales Specialist Job Description
We are a family-owned business with 79 years of experience in the industry, specialising in the sale and service of heavy commercial trucks and trailers, agricultural and construction machinery.
This role involves interpreting and selling parts to customers, sourcing parts for the service team and undertaking stock take, administration and other parts duties.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Providing exceptional customer service and selling parts to customers
* Evaluating customer and workshop parts needs by correctly identifying the make, model and variation of the vehicle they're requesting parts for
* Developing an in-depth understanding of parts inventory and using that knowledge to encourage customers to make more purchases
* Sourcing required parts and arranging dispatch
* Processing payments and preparing invoices
Key Skills:
* Knowledge of truck parts
* Customer-focused, sales driven, excellent communicator, team player, problem-solver, good organisational and computer skills
* Forklift licence (desirable)
* Kenworth or DAF parts knowledge (desirable)
