Research Administration OfficerMedical AdministrationCalvary Mater NewcastleFixed Term, Part Time (12 Month contract)Fixed Term - Part-Time (0.6 - 12 months)Work Days: Tuesday - ThursdaySalary Classification: Administration Level 4, Yr 1-2.Remuneration: $36.45-$37.29 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options .THE ROLE:The CMN Research Office is offering an exciting opportunity for a Research Administration Officer to join the Research Governance team. This part-time position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing high-level administrative support within a dynamic research environment.DUTIES:Provide administrative support to the Research Office in the successful delivery of its plans, programs and services.Assist with meeting coordination, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, distributing documents, and maintaining secure records.Assist with office corporate services including basic consultation with legal, finance and HR.Support other office programs and activities as directed.Provide administrative support to research committees, including meeting coordination, agendas, minute taking, and maintaining meeting records.Assist the Research Governance Officer/Director of Health Research and Translation in delivering all functions of research governance to ensure effective functioning of research processes that support the conduct of research in accordance with national requirements.Learn more about our community and services here! ABOUT YOU:Minimum three years of experience in providing administrative support, with demonstrated capability in adapting and monitoring administrative processes to maximise efficiency in a high volume and demanding professional environment.Experience with basic financial processing including invoicing, record keeping and reconciliation.Demonstrated proficiency in computer software systems including Microsoft suite applications with the ability to quickly learn and utilise other software including financial and research management systems.Proven ability to communicate effectively, build positive relationships, and manage multiple priorities independently and in a teamDemonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal with experience developing communication materials for briefs, reports, presentations, education and websitesExperience providing administrative and support for meetingsFor further information please contact Pari Eftekhari, Research Governance Officer on email: WHY JOIN US?CMN is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area.
