Duties and Responsibilities 
In alignment with the ANZSCO definition for Truck Drivers ), the successful candidate will perform the following duties: 
- Transport and delivery of goods and livestock, including: 
- Delivering pelletised feed to on-site and off-site facilities using blower-equipped trucks 
- Transporting feed and raw materials (grains, meals, minerals, lime, etc.) to and from the farm and feed mill 
- Hauling hay and straw using drop-deck trailers, including responsibility for loading and unloading 
- Transporting grain during harvest and to end-users using end-tippers 
- Transporting livestock (predominantly pigs) to processing facilities on a regular basis 
- Moving farm machinery and general equipment between farm locations as required 
- Vehicle and load safety : 
- Securing loads in accordance with load restraint guidelines 
- Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of trucks and trailers 
- Reporting and addressing any vehicle faults or hazards in a timely manner 
- Compliance and safety : 
- Operating vehicles in accordance with road transport regulations and company policies 
- Maintaining accurate transport and delivery records 
- Managing driving hours to comply with fatigue management legislation 
- Adapting to changing weather, traffic, and agricultural conditions 
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience 
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet one of the following: 
- Hold an AQF Certificate II or equivalent and have at least 1.5 years (20+ hours/week) of relevant post-qualification experience; or 
- Hold an AQF Certificate III or higher and have at least 1 year (20+ hours/week) of relevant post-qualification experience; or 
- Have at least 1 year of full-time (38+ hours/week) relevant work experience as a truck driver 
Additional Requirements 
- Valid and current MC Driver's Licence (preferred but not essential) 
- Proven understanding of load restraint, road safety regulations, and fatigue management 
- Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of heavy vehicles and attachments in rural environments 
- Ability to work independently and adapt to seasonal demands of farm operations 
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
