The Role
As a Digital Technology Specialist, you will drive technology implementation and support Sime Darby Motors businesses with application software and business processes. Your work will enable informed decisions, improve productivity, and accelerate digitalisation.
You'll be involved in:
* Defining and managing requirements for technology solutions
* Automating business processes using platforms like Power Automate
* Developing dashboards and reports with Power BI
* Applying data analytics, visualisation, and machine learning techniques to solve business problems.
What We Need From You
* Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in BI solutions and data analytics (Power BI expertise essential)
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and process automation platforms
* Hands-on experience with data science and machine learning techniques
* Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions
* Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
* Experience in the automotive industry or consulting is a plus
