Exclaim IT seeks a Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide cloud and integration solutions for major transformation programs within federal government agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to provide technical leadership in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance systems across Microsoft Azure, AWS, MuleSoft, Salesforce, and Microsoft Fabric technologies.
The successful candidate will have minimum 10 years' experience as a Solution Architect, delivering complex enterprise-grade solutions. They will be required to demonstrate expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), Azure DevOps, and cloud infrastructure security frameworks. Additionally, they will need to have excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise cloud and integration solutions, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Azure Fabric, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and multi-cloud environments
* Deliver robust, scalable infrastructure solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security standards
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders including security teams, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and enterprise architects
* Guide the development of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), DevOps practices, and automated deployment pipelines
* Produce detailed technical documentation including solution blueprints, design artefacts, and implementation plans
* Manage risk, resolve technical issues, and maintain alignment with architectural roadmaps and governance frameworks
Highly Desirable Criteria:
* Expertise in Microsoft Fabric deployment, Power BI integration, and designing semantic data models for analytics
* Strong experience with Azure-to-AWS integration strategies including security policies, networking (ExpressRoute, VPN), and IAM
* Ability to drive enterprise integration through MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform and/or Salesforce API integration patterns
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent
* Previous experience in government, health, insurance or sectors with complex customer-facing systems
* TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification
* Previous experience in program-level architecture leadership and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
