About The Company
A leading defense contractor supporting the ADF's Armoured Fighting Vehicle fleets, offering access to advanced technology, global supply chains, and over 15 years of local experience.
About The Role
This hands-on apprenticeship involves working with military-grade vehicles such as tanks and armored light vehicles, learning from experienced tradespeople while completing formal training :
* Assist in servicing and maintaining military vehicles (e.g. Abrams, ASLAV, recovery vehicles)
* Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical faults under supervision.
* Use specialist tools to inspect, dismantle, and reassemble components
* Accurately document work to meet Defence and company compliance
* Follow strict safety, quality, and environmental procedures
* Gain a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
What We're Looking For
* A strong interest in mechanics, engineering, or the Defence industry
* Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial setting
* Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, or workshop environment is desirable
* A valid Driver's License
