Pure Style Engineering and Design – Joondalup WA
Pure Style Engineering is a growing engineering consultancy providing commercial and residential engineering and design services throughout Western Australia.
This position requires thorough knowledge of civil/structural design and engineering techniques. Working closely with the Technical Director to evaluate, apply and adapt engineering techniques, procedures and criteria for residential and commercial projects.
Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations and monitor work compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
Responsibilities
* Produce designs that meet client requirements using software and hand calculations.
* Ensure that all engineering designs adhere to Australian Standards
* Liaise with clients in-person, via phone and email.
* Attend meetings on site as required.
Duties of this role after initial training will include:
Essential Functions
* Perform Structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards and engineering formulas.
* Use Computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
* Organise, draft and coordinate technical documents.
* Perform tasks within a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience and Skills
* A completed Bachelor or Master of Civil/Structural Engineering from an institution recognised by Engineers Australia.
* Experience with structural calculations. Design experience essential.
* An understanding of Australian Design Standards.
* Experience of using engineering and drafting software to carry out designs.
* Ability to manage projects independently
