Job Overview
This role involves taking ownership of the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of project logistics activities across multiple work fronts for a key client.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in high-performance project environments, ideally in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Logistics Planning & Execution
* Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy aligned with the overall project schedule and objectives.
* Build detailed logistics budgets covering transport, warehousing, people movement, and material supply.
* Coordination & Communication
* Liaise with internal project teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless execution.
* Integrate logistics timelines with the broader project plan.
* Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure all logistics operations comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for reporting and review.
* Performance & Improvement
* Monitor logistics performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement across operations, systems, and processes.
* Leverage technology and tools to enhance efficiency and visibility of logistics activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in logistics project management, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
